Sam said i shouldn't buy beef at supermarket because they are crap and also cost like a billion dollar, so my angmo (caucasian ) boyfriend brought me to Tekka Market for my very first time. It actually didn't not smell as bad as I imagined it to be. I've been living in Singapore since i was 7 and its probably my first time I've visited a wet market, I know I sound like a brat! I love cold storage and all their pretty packed produce in there and the aircon that feels like I'm walking in Narnia in there.
All the uncles and aunties at Tekka were friendly or maybe my shorts was tiny! If you are in Tekka you need to get your meat from JOE BUTCHERY because Sam said so and the chicken opposite it! Don't ask why.
Went through Jamie Oliver cook book and decided that I'm gonna eat beef today and make Chilli Con Carne. I probably only eat beef once in a very blue moon, never really fancied the taste.
I got tired chopping and dicing and left it to simmer while i squeeze a quick sprint session in, I've been really lazy to train. Currently my weekly routine look something like this or so..
Monday- 6 sets of 30 second sprint on the treadmill + Nike Training Leg workout
Tuesday-GYM session ( LEGS AND SHOULDER ) + Stretch ( Netball training if i have any)
Wednesday 6 sets 30 second sprint (slower than monday) +Nike Training Abs and Legs workout ( Netball Match if i have any)
Thursday- Rest & Stretch
Friday - Gym Deadlift + Shoulder and Abs ( Netball )
Saturday -Pull ups + 5 sets of Sprints + Stretch
Sunday - Rest

I can only eat bananas when they are covered in chocolate or baked as a cake or both! I simply don't enjoy banana in its naturally state they taste weird. I would do anything to avoid eating fruits if I could. So this is what happens when you have way to many bananas sitting in the fridge..you make everyone fat!
No one believes this but my housemates but I EAT CHOCOLATE EVERYDAY! I will find ways to get them in all of my food, currently I'm having oats , milk and 3 table spoon of chocolate ..why not !!
There's this really cheap bar called GONG at Circular Road and you basically could afford a decent lunch or dinner at 10 dollars for fish and chip or chicken.
Since when did Netball became a contact sport! Also the stupid facial lady that tried to get squeeze it so hard when I told her i got hit just made it worst.
Muchachos at Keong Siak is one of my to go places for easy mexican food in Singapore, Sam would get his usually philly burrito and sadly I can only eat a chicken bowl, for $12 i barely can finish this sometimes. We would usually cycle there because its so close to Tanjong Pagar and I love sitting by all the old shop houses that's revamp into cool Instagram worthy eatery. Yes everyone takes photo of their food, sometimes I think we only eat or travel to eat for Instagram.
There's plenty of options being Celiac for food, I am sure I would fail the cross contamination test but I can't cook always and no way am I gonna eat a salad and die everyday . I Love a good old paper dosa from an Indian restaurant, its basically rice crisp.. or the usually Yong Tau Foo from a Chinese stall that you can select what you want.

How many new Gym can you name?
Well a recent one that just opened close to Orchard (20 Devonshire Road, Singapore 239850) happens to be so green and fully equipped with everything you can imagine my best friend happens to work there! They got watt bikes, recovery area all this fancy big squat rack that you can do more than just squat. You know when you bring a kid to a candy store? I am that kid in a gym, don't ask why but a lot of gym have been my second home and meet a lot of amazing people with muscles on their shoulders, I still don't know why we need muscles on our shoulder like that. haha
This was before i snipped of my hair and watching AVERY turn 1! Honestly I get so broody when I see kids but I know at this moment I can't tolerate them or let alone afford them. Also if you happen to go to toys R Us check out the price of Nemo soft toy! $69!!!! You could buy Salmon from the wet market to eat for the entire week with that money! geez what are toys made of.
What do you think of me trying to look 16 again! Weirdly when i was 16 I was trying to look 26.
Now if you happen to walk pass a statue of lions outside of a mall or hotel what do you do ? Well most people they are on their phones anyways so I guess you didn't even notice a lion! But Jesus look at it, maybe I'm a child but it has a penis! xx
The W Hotel spoiled me silly on a #RetoxDetoxRepeat media invite. Wasn't expecting to have alcohol in every meal but i actually did. I had more champagne than my required 6 litres of water for my body everyday but I am not complaining.
Sam took the liberty to crash in my room as i sailed away with the rest of the girls to the nearby Island and watch the sunset on a lovely evening.
I couldn't get enough of every dessert put together so obviously i had more than one, I was horrible , i knew i had to stay away from gluten but i ate everything anyways.
Did i mention buffet ? Seafood from the Heart by Peter Kuruvita was exceptional. If you would let me eat one source of protein for the rest of my life i would go with seafood. Peter talked about how some seafood are more sustainable than the others and its good to know that most of the dishes we had that night came from a sustainable source,therefore our future generation could enjoy them in time to come.
Can't keep eating now can we! Woke up at 8am for Strala yoga by the pool. Followed by a quickie massage that i wished wasn't so quick!
Guess where we had breakfast? The Extreme WOW Suite speaks for itself, it's interior is definitely extreme and If i was rich enough say 13k per night rich i would be sleeping in this giant sink bathub.. but for now I can only dream.

Believe me when I discovered I had celiac, I could have cried as i mourn the loss or not having gluten in my life. Pizza, cupcakes, tarts, pies , puddings and bread everything I love is pretty much made up of gluten .I felt sorry for myself, even received an obituary card that my life has officially ended. I had such a bad relationship with food that i was lying to myself and stuffing my face with cereals or a cake in hiding and always told myself no more gluten tomorrow onwards. Ya right, like that's going to happen.
Obviously this had to end since i'm just destroying my intestine and also my rashes was getting out of hand. A week before that i was misdiagnose for my rashes to be herpes simplex but I didn't believe it and got more test done. In fact i was having dermatitis herpetiformis.
They do look familiar below but of cause the issue i was having with my skin is :
Dermatitis herpetiformis (DH) is a rare but persistent immunobullous disease that has been linked to coeliac disease (American spelling celiac), a gluten-sensitive enteropathy.
I know it's so disgusting i hope you had dinner! So where was I ? Oh yes eating gluten is pretty much killing me and guess that i do need to alter my lifestyle just a little bit more. Don't worry i don't have any more rashes after two week of giving up gluten and probably even lost some weight from all the cookies i can't eat! Bless them .
When I am out and have to make choice on my food I pick anything without gluten or would tell the staff to skip the bread, is it okay? Honestly not because I risk being contaminated from other food that contains gluten but I guess thats the choice i have to make and i definitely prefer cooking at home. Sam on the other hand love bread and i guess I would trade bread for chocolate for now until I learn how to bake gluten free bread that don't taste like cardboard.
Any Celiac out there? How did you discover this amazing disease that is way more horrible than chicken pox?

As i was making a tomato base chicken casserole , i realised i had some quinoa in my cupboard and the Lovely People from Kiehl delivered me a gift to even out my skin. So my dinner is pretty much inspired by them,
Sam bought me a massive casserole that i literally throw everything in it and chuck it in the oven and its been a life saver when I'm so lazy to do the frying , washing and all the jazz.

There are better things to be than rich! Having great company on a Sunday night is one of them. Our lives would be more fulfilled if we began chasing after what truly makes us happy. “Some people are so poor, all they have is money.”― (Patrick Meagre) pretty much is my favourite quote also because maybe now I'm broke but i have no debts neither do i have liabilities to worry about. I have no milestones of having a Chanel bag, BMW, Rolex watch or a Cartier bracelet. To me milestones should never be fancy item, i would trade them with life experiences and travel adventures. This is so random omg but it was in my mind and i had to share!
Charlotte and I made Salmon Wellington and mash, i think I'm getting so good with mash! The amount of potatoes i ate this week probably could feed a family for a year. Cooking is so simple if you set your mind to it instead of eating out.

*I did not know its that muscular, no it's not disgusting, its the outcome of all my pull ups and rows in the gym!
*Visited my mom and niece during her track day,Diane(niece) happens to be one of the best in Singapore in the athletics scene at the age of 15! I can't believe the last i sprinted on a track.
*Went to a SINGAPORE CROSSFIT 7 YEARS ANNIVERSARY (POOL PARTY) but hey guess what? No one brought their bikini but me! Terrible, i felt so cheated but was to drunk to care.
Went to watch Sam work on a SUNDAY for SCC rugby team ! No idea whats going on but i think my boyfriend is mighty fine xx.
Sam bought us new sheets, covers,duvet and all the jazz . As you get older i guess you wants all your friend to try your new bed for the sake of it, I'm not sure if we will ever grow up, i don't think i want too!

With the time difference in Bintan, you get to enjoy an extra hour for activities on this former pirate refuge. We were warmly welcomed the moment we arrived from the club's G.O. (Gentils Organisateurs). The first view that you see is this amazing viewpoint of the entire resort. This coastal resort gave us great weather for the two days we were there.
All the activities so little time !
Eating out our last night at the resort with the best seat in the house at their outdoor dining restaurant. Lydia the club manager ensured that i did everything at the resort. I watched her prancing around the resort making sure all her guests were satisfied. She was always on her toes! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful with, they made our stay memorable.
They welcomed us and bid us farewell with a song.Small things make a big difference in employee engagement and you will always receive it in every Clubmed Resort world wide!
As I down my salad( made up of avocados, pumpkin ,corn ,Chicken and every other vegetable that is good for me ) while sam gets to enjoy the Bagel i bought with Bacon!
I wondered how much food do we really need ?
When do I stop eating the 'one last chip ' or paying visit to the fridge to take another spoonful of Nutella?
Did you know, that your stomach is approximately the size of your fist ? I'm still amaze how much food I can put in it before my belly expire and my even my gym tights cry in vain.
At the moment my food Look something like this!
9am-coffee with milk
12 -sweet potato /fish / vegetable
3-left over from my 12 o clock meal
6-to much nuts and a other coffee if I'm dying
8-avacado ,fish ,corn ,any vegetable
9pm-tea and milk /potato chips or tapioca chip /chocolate or both if my conscious is not clear !
So how much food should you eat?
How much food you should eat depends on many factors, which includes your age, height, sex, health status, daily calories output, activities engages, genetic makeup, body composition etc etc..
It also relates to your daily calorie intake requirement. If you consume more each day than you use up and you will usually put on weight, consume less and the opposite will happen well this is a general outlook of calories balance, common sense right?
Below are some general daily calorie requirements for males and females. Low active level includes from 30-60 minutes of daily moderate activity, such as walking at 5-7 km/h (3-4 mph). Active level includes at least 60 minutes of daily moderate activity. ( taken from www.medicalnewstoday.com)
According to the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the average person's minimum calorie requirement per day globally is approximately 1,800 kilocalories (7,500 kJ)
Now lets look at the estimate breakdown of calories consume, i'm not great with my geography, therefore knowing the continents helps. Higher up on the map closer to the Arctic Ocean people consume more calories due to the weather. It is also safe to say that the third world countries consume less as compared to their other counterparts. With this it makes sense in regards to the obesity rate found in different Countries. Interesting isn't it ? Well enough of sounding smart for the day, time to have some tea and rice crackers now. xx
