I had two choices today to either be lazy and not train or to go for a massage. Obviously i picked massage. One of those basic cheap ones you get from a china lady who presses your back and keeps pressing even harder, whilst screaming the same word. No idea what she's saying but i always say (hen hao hen hao) which i think means (good good). Oh well I love those massages, even though my boyfriend gives amazing massages i just don't like the idea of troubling him after his working hours. I should go for a chinese class to pick up the language properly, I only seem to know how to order food. Once I asked for more chilli (la chau) in chinese but it sounded more like penis (lan chau), From which i received weird stares so never attempted chinese properly again. However I still do occasionally just to make myself chuckle.( After i made my boyfriend (Sam) proof read this, he also thinks i need an English class (x_x ) )
Jacq hooked me up with the people from LIFEPROOF, They wanted to send me a FRE case after hearing what i do with my phone and the daily danger it goes through with me being in a gym, I was only expecting one case but instead they send me a #LIVELIFEPROOF survival kit! How generous of them.
So my housemate (Joe) just bought a pair a week before i receive this and he was bragging at how amazing they were, last year alone he broke 3 phones, one was not even his, so he invested in a cover.
So i did some research and it says LifeProof cases transcends mere protection. That’s why the cases are developed to be waterproof, dirt proof, snow proof and drop proof, so you can continue to push the boundaries of fitness while giving you the opportunity to capture the proof and share amazing stories.
I don't know what to do with all this gadget but so psyched to use the LIFEJACKET next month when I'm climbing at krabi and guess what? i could take a selfie without worrying, i need a lifejacket myself since i can't even swim ! Problem solved no more broken phones for me! xx
Did i mention to you that i cycle to work everyday ! well i'll talk more about cycling tomorrow, of to bed now.xx
Creating a habit of regular exercise doesn’t require special gadgets or even equipments. Walking instead of taking the bus and climbing the stairs could be good enough for most folks. But if you’re bored and want to be on your toe with your results or enjoy using technology to enhance ordinary tasks, there is so many electronic exercise gadgets and digital devices available for everyone!
As someone who likes to keep active every day and workout regularly, I have been searching for a fitness band for some time as I have always wanted to monitor and track all my fitness and lifestyle related metrics such as distance walked, distance ran, number of hours slept, and calorie consumption, i do it not to lose weight but just to know my body better.
So my search began and I found out that there are many fitness bands available out in the market today such as the Garmin Vivofit, Basis, Nike+ Fuelband SE, Withings Pulse, Jawbone UP24 and Misfit Shine, among others. They all have different features and each one of them is styled differently. The one that recently caught my eye though is the Fitbit Flex.
Although there are many other Fitbit style of fitness bands, the Fitbit Flex in my opinion is the best one of the lot as it offers a long list of features making it the most complete product of its kind and the best fitness tracker you can buy. It is also one of the best and most competitively priced trackers available, offering many more features than its competitors, and is priced much cheaper than similar products such as the Nike + FuelBand and Jawbone UP. Alot of my clients are seen with the Fitbit Flex.
Some of its features include the ability to track the number of steps you have taken, your sleep quality, the amount of calories you have consumed, and a silent wake alarm that gently vibrates to wake you at your desired time. The Fitbit Flex also automatically syncs all the data collected wirelessly to either your PC, Mac, iOS device, and select Andorid phones, providing the user with real-time access to all the stats on the Fitbit dashboard at any time of the day.
As I scoured the net in search of the best price for the Fitbit Flex, I noticed that today was the launch of the LAZADA 100 SALE on http://www.lazada.sg/lazada100/. A quick update what I’ve been up to, besides working endlessly that my mornings which I use to dedicate to my workout time is now packed with client, I should be thankful for having such a good start at a new club!
Limaran and I are in Singapore Stuff Magazine top 10, how fortunate are we to be able to participate in an event together, and no I am not even competing! If it weren’t for her I wouldn’t be in it! And if it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t even have a website up and running, as much as you know it, im the talker and she’s the do-er and she keeps me grounded in making sure I do what I supposed to do, on my own, you would probably get a 50 word blog in about 5 years! So we pretty much balance out each other in a good way.
So what exactly is this competition about, finding a cover girl for the magazine of course! I’ve been in a couple of pageant, yes it is about popularity and votes and some brains too, but this competition aren’t like most I’ve participated! The organizers really look after us! Mostly Ian Paynton and make sure we look good in every photo taken, they actually treat us with so much love and respect.
Some of my previous pageant, they insisted that I was “fat” to them my muscular arm, broad shoulder, thick trunk was fat, I was suppose to look like stick and bones and eat nothing but air and sit in the sauna for 45 min 3x a week to “lose weight” the Stuff Covergirl gave us the opportunity to work with gadget and write whatever we wanted for their website, we were given the freedom of speech and maybe just some minor proof reading to keep us on track.
To me its never a competition, it’s a journey of learning more about myself and improving myself, and hey meeting new friends along the way, who cares about winning to me throwing myself in a challenge is like a exciting journey that not many people dare to take for the fear of being judge and losing.
You can choose to live your life with the joy of the front row or solemnness of the third row, the choice is yours J
Oh enough of long ass stories here are some photos throughout my journey.
